An N95 mask, like the 3Q N95, is a form of respiratory protective wear which is worn over the nose and mouth to minimize the chance of inhaling airborne particles, bacteria, and viruses such as COVID-19. The N95 face mask is non-woven, and made of disposable synthetic polymer fibers produced in a process called melt blowing. During the melt blowing process, the inner layer of the N95 mask is created which forms the filtration layer that filters at least 95% of airborne particles when worn properly.
